Winston Shemain

Winston's passing has snapped another link in the chain that joined us to St. Mary's Mount Abu, so beloved by the Class of '57.

Winston had it all — good looks, brilliant, a good singing voice, excelled in sport, soft spoken, most modest and never spoke ill of anyone, ever willing to help anyone and was not only liked by one and all, but held in high esteem. A very rare diamond indeed whose brilliance shone into the hearts of all around him.

It has been a great honour to know Winston and therefore take immense pride in calling him friend.

May his soul soar high into the Invisible and take his rightful place among the Just.

—Neville Correy (1957)
